Tools for international trade
In international sales transactions there is a trend towards the integrated supply chain management of products between supplier and customer.
To manage this integrated supply chain, the exporting companies acquire, in countries far from their production centres, articles and accessories from secondary suppliers. In the end, these purchases made in different markets have to be sent to the customer in a consolidated way and at the same time.
Accordingly, these articles, without going through any other production process and travelling on different routes, are integrated into triangular or cross-trade operations that must be delivered to the end customer along with the main product being exported as if it were a single consignment.
In triangular operations, the exporting company is responsible for contracting the cross trade shipment to transport the goods from the warehouse of each secondary supplier (probably located in a different country) to its customer’s warehouse in the country of destination.
Through this procedure, once the goods are not brought into the national territory, the following advantages are obtained:
However, triangular operations must be carried out without the final consignee being able to identify the different secondary suppliers that have intervened. In such a way that only the main supplier with whom the customer has entered into the commercial operation appears as a reference on the documentation (commercial invoice, bill of lading, packing list, etc.) and on identifying elements (labels on packaging and parcels, etc.).
BEMAR guarantees the confidentiality of the documents with which bills of lading (B/L) have to be made, both those issued in the ports of origin as well as those that are managed in the ports of destination.
With our extensive international network, we have the logistics resources necessary to carry out cross trade shipments anywhere in the world in complete safety.
Our professional team has extensive experience in triangular operations and a thorough knowledge of customs and tax legislation and of the most appropriate means of payment or collection for each operation.
